PARRIS, Gloria Ruth. Peacefully at Whitby Rest Home, Whitby, Porirua on 19 August 2014. Beloved wife of Harry. Dearly loved mother of Craig (deceased), Robyn, Lloyd, Lynne, Glenn, and Adele. Loved Grandma of all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Messages for 'The Parris Family' may be sent c/- 15 Aotea Drive, Aotea, Porirua. A service for Gloria will be held at the Salvation Army, 177 Main Road, Tawa, Wellington on Tuesday 26 August at 1.00pm, thereafter private cremation. Ninness Funeral Home, Porirua. Gloria and Joy sing together at Joys 80th nine years ago.

I am sorry I could not bring Joy to the funeral as she only advised me this morning of Gloria's passing. Mum is unwell but we had a long chat about Gloria and Harry yesterday and she could recall some happy memories from her younger days. They had had a lot of fun together over many years.
Condolences to the family from Joy (Gaiger) and Jeanette.

What wonderful memories I have of you, the great holidays we shared with you and the rest of the Parris family. I will never forget your singing, musical talents and colouring formal photos. As youngsters on holiday we would always chose to travel with you in what you called the old grey bomb. I will miss you Gloria but love you always.
