I think of you often my friend, miss you and our backgammon games. Rest easy, until we meet again

Glenn, my friend from high school. Walking through Stancich Reserve one evening, the park, behind the funeral service.
We were singing, "there she was just a walking down the street, singing, doo-wah-ditty ditty-dum-ditty-dum".
We walked from Glenfield Road, all the way to ten pin bowling in Takapuna, to use the vending machine. Because everything else was closed. Singing and talking and laughing all the way. And back.
Walk on my friend, walk on.
