BARTLETT, Glenn Stewart. Passed away April 23, 2025. Aged 84. Loved son of the late Dick and Nancy Bartlett, Motueka. Father of Craig, Adelaide. Loved brother and brother in law of Ann and Bob Scott (deceased); Jim and Lesley, Cromwell; Brian and Elizabeth, Motueka; (Rab) Richard and Gwenda, Tapanui. A service to celebrate Glenn's life will be held at Shone & Shirley Funeral Home, 164 Tahunanui Drive Nelson at 10 am on Tuesday May 6th, followed by a private cremation. Respectfully cared for by Shone and Shirley Funeral Directors. F.D.A.N.Z.

I knew Glenn from the railways at Westfield in Auckland. I learnt the job from him and Graham Zanders driving trains. I remember the good-natured debate over the virtues of sail boats according to Glenn verses the advantages of power boats according to Graham. Glenn was always a gentleman, and I haven't forgotten him, I am glad he had an interesting retirement sailing the seven seas. Condolensensers to his family. Hi got to know Glenn when he moved into Ernest Rutherford as I was an employee there. Glenn was a real gentleman and it was always a pleasure to meet and chat with him as he was such an interesting guy with fascinating history.

Sorry I won't be able to make the service on Tuesday other commitments at that time. Rest in Peace my friend.
