Glenette MENZIES Obituary

MENZIES, Glenette Cecily (nee Purdom). Passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Sunday 8th July 2018. Loved wife of the late Michael and greatly missed mother of Kevin, Christine and Lynette and her children who passed before her Gary, Warren and Kay. Beloved mother-in-law of Marie, Val, Dave, and the late Alberto. Cherished grandmother of Simone, Aaron, Cyrus, Keir, Eve, Leon, Jade, Brook, Sky, Caitlin, Mario, Rosie, Mikela, Gabriela, Magdalena and Bruno. Great grandmother to Zara, Natalie, Amos, Amelia, Eliza, Julius, Tamarau, Noah, Finn, Frankie, Coco, Louie, Ahriana and Marco. Respected aunty and friend of many. Glenette's children will offer eulogies at the mass. An opportunity for family and friends to share memories and speak about Glenette will be offered at the Rosary, on Friday 20th July at 7pm at Good Shepherd Parish, Balmoral. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21st July at 11am followed by burial at Waikaraka Cemetery.

So sorry to hear the sad news about Glenette. My Mum the late Ivy, grew up with Glenette and all hers sisters & brother.. I've known Glenette since I was born and became closer to her when Ivy passed. I'll miss our long chats on the photo. She was a lovely lady. Raewyn Good (née Doubleday)

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your sweet Mother Glenette.Although I never met her in person, I always enjoyed hearing about her and her life and edventures from her loving and devoted daughter Lynette.How beautiful that she had so many grandchildren and great grandkids that loved her as well as two very supportive daughters.Rest in eternal peace with Our Heavenly Father Dear Glenette ❤
