Gladys LLOYD Obituary

LLOYD, Gladys. After a long battle with dementia and other illnesses, on Thursday 10th January 2019, Gladys, in her 90th year, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord. Dearly loved wife of Bryon for almost 64 years. Loved mother of David and Marie, Geoff and Jan, Chris and Joss and Nigel. Loved by her grandchildren Monique and Scott (Burton), Jason, Matthew, Olivia (Livy), Callum and great grandson Lochlan. Many thanks to the caregivers and nurses at Evelyn Page Hospital for their loving care of Gladys. A service of remembrance for Gladys will be held at the Chapel of Forrest Funeral Services, 39 Riverside Road, Orewa on Wedneday the 16th January 2019 at 1pm, followed by refreshments.

Ian and Michelle Erasmus and family would like to express their deepest condolences to Bryon and family at the passing of Gladys. We pray for much comfort and peace at this time. We got to know Bryon and Gladys during our time at Orewa Baptist Church and when my now 24 year old daughter, was 11 and ended up in hospital,Gladys and Bryon stepped up out of the blue and helped us with meals and support during that time. Kind, generous and loving is how we will remember Gladys. All our love, The Erasmus family (Tuakau, Waikato)
