Too young to say your name, 'Gladys' I only managed 'Lady', and it stuck, you will always be Lady to our family! Thank you for being a continual, great friend to Mum and a fun constant presence in our lives. You will be greatly missed! Love you Lady. From Gran, Dave, & Family. xx

HOWARD, Gladys Emma. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 30th January 2024. Loved youngest daughter of the late Gwen and Jack Short (Pukekohe), and loved sister of Marilyn (Tirau), John (Kawerau), and Nelda (Pukekohe). You were the best Aunty G of Sharon, Jakob, and Ashleigh (Melbourne) and Jeff, Dee, Boston, and Gunnar (Kerikeri). You had an infectious smile and there was always fun with you around. Aunty G, you will be truly missed and forever in our hearts.
