HALL, Gladys. On September 3, 2011, peacefully after a brave fight. Ma, we'd finished the whisky a while ago, And the pans of scouse are cold, No one would ever said that you were getting old. The walks where we'd nearly be at the mile, The jokes we shared, your lovely cheeky smile. Family was you centre, was your life and soul, But time's against us Ma, time does take its toll. You fought your last battle, you were strong right to the end. I'll miss you Ma, my Mum and dearest friend. Adored and loved Mother of Roy, cherished mother-in-law of Ursula, devoted Nannie of Rebecca and Joel.
