Gillian O'MARA Obituary

O'Mara, Gillian Lorraine (Nee Beale). Passed away peacefully at home in Perth, Western Australia on 26 November, aged 79. Wife of Phil, Mother of Kristine and Katrina, Nana Gill to Shae, Kaela, Chris and Ben. Sister to Bruce, Judy (dec), Cheryl, John, Mandy (dec) and Peter. Our thanks go to the Ward 4 Long Stay Doctors and Nurses at Whangārei Hospital, for the care they provided to her in August and September 2022, when on a 4 day trip across the Ditch became a 2 month extended stay. Kristine and Katrina have not forgotten the care that you provided to Mum, the silver linings opportunity this gave for them to spend more time together and how you facilitated her repatriation back to Perth. Mum, we hope that you are sitting on the shores of Onetangi enjoying it one last time. Give our love to Alsace when you see her.
