Dear Brook and Gill´s family, It is with heavy sadness that we have learned of Gill´s passing. We send our love and prayers at this difficult time for you all. We remember Gill as a funny, warm and thoroughly genuine person who was just so good to be with. Whether we were in an MFAT context and on posting or whether she was treating one of our children in After Hours in Wellington, she radiated light and gave out sensible down to earth wisdom that seemed to set the world back on its correct axis. Gill could be trusted to see the world through compassionate and wise eyes. When I first met Gill and Brook they were parenting two little twin boys and they made it look such a delightful thing to do - I was in awe of Gill´s capability and confidence. What a wonderful mother, a beautiful nurse, and a gracious and generous partner and friend. Please accept our condolences as we grieve with you.
