Giles STANFORD Obituary

I always called into the sports store and saw Giles and his beautiful black lab. Always loved talking to him on hunting on way up from Palmerston North to Taupo many many times. Was so sad to see he had passed away.Greg lourie

Very sad news. Giles was the first person we met when we moved to Taihape in 1993. A great local character who will be much missed by all. Our love and sympathy to Lee, Charlotte and families.

I only just learnt of Giles dying suddenly today. I am shocked. Lovely bloke.

The worst news, way to young and to early into the "good years". We often travelled to spend the day in tiahape and pick up a good deal. Funny, a red ryder means so much more now after a good barter with the man. Rest in peace mate.
