Sorry to hear of Gerards passing.

I am one of many pilots who Gerard helped start a successful flying career. I'm very grateful for the opportunity he gave me.

Gerard was a wonderful friend and neighbour here in Turangi. We missed him greatly when he moved and can´t believe he´s passed. Condolences to all the family. I loved to get him talking about his flying. We have friends who were cabin crew with Gerard and they speak very highly of him too!

So sad to hear of Gerard´s passing. Will always treasure and remember my years working for Great Barrier Airlines. He was a great boss. RIP Gerard.

I remember him fondly from my London days - ( and he flew with my late dad Gary who was an isd - always a fine gentlemen to catch up with at the pub and chat away about all sorts and he loved his crew. May he rest in peace current air nz crew xxx
