It is with sadness that the members of the Titahi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club heard of the passing of a long time fellow member, Gerry Fitzgerald.
Gerry in his time with the club always set a high standard of himself, representing New Zealand on several occasions and winning numerous NZ Titles. Gerry always gave 100%.

To Sue and boys, news has just started filtering throughout his old work colleagues and friends.
It was a shock to get the news and I'm sure everyone shares the same thoughts, he was a lovely person and well thought of amongst his real estate colleagues and people that knew him.
Unfortunately as things happen when people move away the connection gets lost.
I know when working with him he was always talking about you and the boys. He was very proud of his family.
Thinking of you all and also find it hard to believe he's no longer in this world.
