Geraldine CARTER Obituary

CARTER, Geraldine Jill (Jill). Died Monday 22 March 2024 aged 87. Wife of Mike (deceased) and mum to Joanna, Susie, Richard, and Simon. Grandmother and great grandmother. Lifelong muso, gardener, nature lover, giver, smiler, scrabble player (black belt), and wearer of many other delightful hats. A service to celebrate Jill's life will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday 3 April at Dil's North Harbour Chapel, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland. Lesley and Diana Board. Such happy memories of our time spent together in Te Anga district. Your hospitality and generosity will never be forgotten. Homemade ice-cream and a dishwasher! Also the sometimes very hair-raising trips to Te Maika in our very underpowered boat. We went backwards and had to wait for hours for the tide to turn.
