Gerald HARE Obituary

In February of 1979 (forty seven years ago) I stayed with Gerald and Jill for a week while traveling throughout New Zealand when I was 20 years old. I and my traveling partner, Diana Lyons, enjoyed their hospitality and care.

Almost half of a century has gone by, but the memory of this time remains as one of the most pleasant in my early life.

Thank you Gerald and Jill for your care of those young travelers....

Our sincere condolences of the loss of a loved husband dad and family person. It wont be the same at Maxwell without Gerald.
Our life at Maxwell was short but Gerald was a person who made you so welcome. Sorry to hear the news 65 was far too young.
