Dear Maryann & family
I am so sorry to hear that Gerry has passed away after his battle with cancer.
My sincere sympathy to you all as you cope with this huge loss in your lives and although the coming months will be hard, I am sure the memories of good times together in the past will help you all through this difficult time.
I didn't know Gerry, but if he was half as proud of his daughters as Maryann is, he will have been a great dad. Maryann - big hugs to you.
Lots of love
Margaret Cleland

Our most sincere condolences to Maryanne and family on Gerry´s passing. We´re so sorry we won´t be able to attend the funeral but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all on the day. Gerry was one of a kind and our memories of him will live on with us. His sense of humour and great Craic still make us smile at his sayings. He will not be forgotten.
Love from Marian and Gary Taylor

Our sincere condolences to Maryann and family.
Gerry will always be fondly remembered by us, with his warm spirit, friendly face and infectious smile.
He always had stories or jokes to share, along with a bit of friendly banter.
Although the years have passed by, it was a true pleasure to have known the man.

Rest in peace Gerry and farewell.

So sorry to see this and sending love and condolences to the family. He was a genuine, salt of the earth guy and a true friend. When we worked together all those years ago he was always there to enjoy a laugh and was never short of a hilarious story. Always very proud of his family and a true gem. RIP Gerry and thank you for your friendship and laughs. No doubt you are already propped up enjoying a cheeky drink looking and smiling down on us all. Cheers my friend!

Condolences to all the family. Gerry was always so much fun and loved a chat. Even though we haven't worked together for a few years, I still had the pleasure of catching up and phone calls from Gerry with his latest news. Gerry was so proud of his girls and talked about his family a lot. RIP Gerry and thanks for all the laughs and your friendship. Viv Smart

Condolences to you all at this sad time. Gerry was always fun and loved a chat. Although we haven't worked together for awhile he would still ring me. Sadly I won't be able to attend his farewell as I am with a sick relative away from Auckland. RIP dear Gerry and thanks for the laughs. Viv Smart
