PHILLIPS, Georgina Waimatao (Georgie) (nee Winiata). Died peacefully on 24th June 2025, aged 81. Dearly loved wife for 62 years of Peter. Loving mother of Kym and Peter, Patrick and Dianne, Sean and Stormie, Bridget and Peter. Dearly loved Nanny of Kelsi, Caleb, Noah, Kaea, Ruby, Mareikura, Hera, Ngawaiata, Sophia and Denis and great grandmother of CJ and Leia. Daughter of Wiremu Te Ngahoa and Riripeti Winiata (nee Ngata) and whangai of Kura and Bill Raymond; Loved sister of Ite (deceased), Puhi, Turupa (deceased), Billy (deceased) Harete, Baby (Rangi) and Boy (Wiremu) and loved aunt, grandaunt and great grand aunt to many. Mum will be at home at 63 Tawa Road, One Tree Hill from Thursday 26th June and there will be an Auckland service at Latter Day Saints Kiwitea Chapel, 5 Kiwitea Street, Sandringham at 2p.m. on Friday 27th June. We will then be taking her back to Makahae Marae, Te Kahika Road, Te Puke for her tangihanga from Saturday 28th June, with the nehu / service at 11a.m. on Monday 30th June.
