Bunter occupied a BIG part of the RNZN Supply Department in the 50's and 60's. Always good for a laugh, and if you wanted someone to get into trouble with, Bunter was your man. have not seen him for many years, not since he tried to run me down on Queen Street with an Auckland City bus. Lots of great memories.

Big George, you will be missed. Your heart was even bigger than you were and you are a part of many happy childhood memories of mine.

I can't be there today for Poppa's funeral and I'm absolutely gutted. I won't forget his awesome songs on the guitar that us kids were probably too small to hear. I won't forget his lovely big hugs and laughter. R.I.P Poppa xox
