George WILSON Obituary

WILSON, George Edward Brian. The last of six Engineers who built the Auckland Harbour Bridge, passed away peacefully on 13 February 2024 aged 95, with his eldest daughter at his side. Married to Geraldine, his beloved wife of 64 years, much loved father to Debbie, Nigel, Megan and Charles, Granddad to Dennis, Arian, Libby and Eve. We will all miss you, you lead such a full life. In Lieu of flowers a donation to Harbour Hospice North Shore or Blind Low Vision NZ Guide Dogs, would be much appreciated. A funeral service for Brian will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, entrance 10 Dominion St Takapuna on Friday 16 February at 11am followed by a private family burial at Mangere Lawn Cemetery.
