WALKER, George Percy (Hori). On Saturday 24 June 2017, peacefully, a week short of his 89th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Joan. Cherished and loved father and father in law of Jim and Kathy, Ray and Dale, Steve and Joanne, Carolyn and Martin, Gayle and Mark. Proud Pop of Mark, Dion, Ben, Nikki, Scott, John (dec), Mike, Megan (dec), Sean, Stephanie, Logan, Sarah, Hannah, Emily, Abbey, Holly and Samuel. Step pop of Rhys and Ashley. Great grandfather of Esther, Eva and Olivia. Step great grandfather of Lylah, Seth and Payton. A celebration of George?'s life will be held in the Knox Presbyterian Church, Domain Road, Whakatane on Thursday 29 June at 11am followed by a private cremation.
