THORBURN, George Brown. Passed away peacefully on Monday 3 June, 2024 in Tauranga, in his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband and close companion of Val (for 62 years). Loved father of Andrew and Kathryn, and Ian and Christine. Much loved Grandad of Kate and James, Rebekah and Isaac, Luke and Lini, Ethan, Callum, and Ben. Great Grandad and singer of lullabies to Maisie and Grace. A funeral for George is to be held at Legacy Funerals, 383 Pyes Pa Rd, Tauranga on Monday 17 June at 11 a.m. A true Scottish gentleman and friend to many.
