George RICHARDSON Obituary

With much respect for the passing of my Uncle George, many good memories especially our last chat and all of the wonderful stories you have shared with me over the years. My deepest sympathy to my cousins Jane, Niki and their children on the loss of a much loved Father and Grandfather. To my Mother Dorothy Richardson and Uncle Peter Richardson also on the passing of their much loved brother. From Grant

I first met George at the Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School and then had many interactions with him as a Controller. Sad to read that he is no longer with us.

So my Uncle George earnt a special pair of Wings. I will always remember you as my Cool Uncle who flew for Air New Zealand " Rest Easy"

Well big George u just look the same as I will always remember you .We first met when you landed a Cessna 180 ( state of the art in the 1950s at Mangere grass airfield. It was summer of 59 you were flying the Mercury bay service , a private company . Uniform island shirt , open , grubby shorts , handles Andover a straw hat. Congratulations on your career old friend RIP .

RICHARDSON, George Leslie Graham. Born January 25, 1935. Passed away on January 07, 2024. A loved Papa to Jane and Niki, and Grandpa to Paris, Riki, James and Danyon. Remembered with love by the Richardson family. Bye for now xx
