PIAGGI, George Ronald (Ron). Born June 9, 1920. Passed away peacefully at his home in Mangawhai on October 19, 2021, aged 101. Dearly loved husband of the late Marjory. Cherished father and father-in-law of Sandra and Kevin, Heather and Latham, Steve and Tania, Gail and Mark, Chris and Kelly and Richard. A special Grandad (Fa) to Dean, Angela and Peter, Victoria and Robin, Shane and Yoko, Lee, Paul and Dee, Rebecca and Sean, Ruby, Taj, Porshia, Prada, Carson. Great Grandad (Fa) to Bryce, Toni, Karlos, Ranea, Georgia, Summer, Serge, Caitlin, Jacob, Isla, Zack. You will be forever in our hearts and terribly missed and will leave a huge gap in our lives. A Celebration of Ron's life will be held when all his family and friends can be together, details to be advised.

An exceptional man- probably the kindest I have ever met. It was a privilege to have known both he and his wonderful family. I don't know of anybody who has touched so many hearts. Rest peacefully dear friend.
