George John MORRISON obituary, Auckland, Auckland

George MORRISON Obituary

MORRISON, George John. Passed the finishing post on 1st October 2021, aged 87 years. Devoted husband of Dell, loved father and father-in-law of Leslee, Pat O'Connell, Kay and Michael Ramsey, Eric and Carolyn Morrison. Loved grandfather of Clare, Kelly, Luke, Ricky, Karl and Michael, and great-grandfather of five. The family is grateful to the staff in the Manuka wing of Radius Rimu Park for their kind care of George over the last four years. You will always be Mr Morrison to me
You baled our hay on a fine summers day
I rolled them in rows to be taken away
We laughed at stories you told under a tree
While eating Mums scones and drinking billy tea
I would bike around on my 2 wheeler
To visit my best friend cause I wanted to see her
You often had a smile and a grin
And sometimes even a glass a gin
But time has passed and now your free
You will always be Mr Morrison to me. RIP
