George HICKS Obituary

HICKS, George Parata. On 3 December 2018 at home. Beloved husband of Karen. Brother and brother in law of Maria (deceased) and Win Nicol, Jim and the late Helen, Suzette and Graeme Blackford, Therese and Win Greaney, Frances (deceased) and Rosemay (deceased). Special father of Kylie and Clint and Poppa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at Greerton Marist Rugby Club, 90 Oropi Rd Greerton on Wednesday 12th December at 11am. Messages to the Hicks family C/- PO Box 650 Tauranga 3144.

You really were a gentle giant George. I remember with fondness the fun times we had in our youth at grandma Rose Dudley's house when you 'borrowed' the car keys to her Hillman and we took it joy riding. My deepest condolences to Karen and family and to my surviving cousins.
