GUY, George Murray.J.P. Passed away 15th August 2023 at his home Papakura, aged 87 years. A devoted and dearly loved husband of Pam, adored father of Alison and Andy Gray, Helen and Paul McCormick, Michael Guy, Kristin and Matthew Ford. Loved grandfather of Stephanie, Campbell, Madeline, Jemma, Lauren, Samuel, Joshua, Gabrielle and Nathaniel. Great grandfather of Scottie. Adored and only brother of Margaret Brown. Murray will be deeply missed by all his extended family. A service of thanksgiving to celebrate his life will be held at the Christ Church (Anglican) 40 Coles Crescent, Papakura on Monday 21st August 2023 at 11am. I became a Dispensary Technician in the late 80s under the guidance of Murray, Pam & Tony at what was then Guys Pharmacy.
To this day, he is still one of the most memorable Bosses I have ever had. Thoughtful, kind, full of knowledge & a true Gentleman.
My condolences to his beautiful family & to all that have had the pleasure of working with such a wonderful man.

Murray was the loveliest man and most amazing, kind, thoughtful boss. Working at Guy's Pharmacy in the 70's was the best work environment ever. Nothing ever compared. Friends were made forever. The best MC at our wedding. So many memories
