George Fraser Obituary

FRASER, George McPherson October 23, 1926 - February 25, 2016 George was born in Ayr, Scotland and immigrated to Canada with his wife and son in 1957. Predeceased by his loving wife, Olive, in 2008, he is survived by his sons, Bill (Joanne), Colin (Heather); grandsons, Cameron and Jordan; grand-daughters, Meaghan (Robbie Donaldson), Cierra; great-grandson, Makai Donaldson and his loving brother, Bill, in North Carolina. After leaving Shannon Oaks in December 2015, George spent the last two months at Dufferin Place Care Home in Nanaimo where he had wonderful loving care and died peacefully with family. George will be lovingly remembered for his love of music, his art and his craftsmanship of storytelling. A memorial service for George will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15th at McCall's Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets in Victoria, BC.
