George BELLINGHAM Obituary

Bellingham, George Robert (Rob). Passed away peacefully at home on 29 July 2025, aged 81. Dearly loved husband of Jan, former husband of Lois, and father of Joanna, Tristan and James. Much-loved father-in-law and "Bapu" to his many grandchildren. A follower of Jesus, Rob lived a rich and adventurous life as a minister in NZ, missionary in Bangladesh and India, mission leader across Asia, and more recently an author and sports fan. Deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, Rob and his family would appreciate donations to Tear Fund (a former workplace and a regular recipient of Rob's generosity). A celebration of Rob's life will be held at Rotorua Baptist Church (100 Malfroy Road) on Wednesday 6 August at 1.00pm.
