Dearest Beverly, my heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time, I was only speaking about Great uncle George yesterday with a man he went to school with, I have very fond memories and remember him as a very sweet man loved by all his family. I think of Grandad often and the Barke family so I just wanted to send mine and mums love, would of been at the funeral but after losing both Nanas recently don't have the strength as with Mum, but our thoughts are with you and the family. Love Erana (Pam Barkes Daughter)

To all the Barke family,
lI'm so sorry to hear of your loss, George was a real gentleman in every way. I feel sad that he had such a horrid illness and can only imagine the toll it took on you all, especially you Bev, My thoughts and prayers are with you all and although I live in Scotland, the magic of our children's enduring friendships has kept me in touch. RIP dear George.
