Geoff was certainly one in a million. His sharp wit and dry humour was always on form and he always had the ability to make us laugh. Our friendship with Geoff, both personally and in business, has certainly enriched our lives. Geoff you will be so terribly missed.

Paula we are so sorry, he has been taken way too soon. You had so much more to do together.
We are both devestated we are not able to attend Geoffs farewell but he will remain in our hearts and memories as one of the good guys you feel humbled to have crossed paths with.
Love to you Paula and family

Our deepest sympathy to the Walsh family. We were all together at Broadlands primary school,& his Mum & Dad had the local shop. What lovely innocent days they were. He was the nicest little kid and had the biggest dimples.
With fondest memories from Leonie Robinson & our family, Zillah, Jimmy, Trish, Mark & the late Adam.

A true gentleman, a very talented engineer.

His wisdom was a huge help to me over the years as a mere civilian navigating my way through the complex rules that surround our industry.

Always answered the call and always in a way that was easily understood.
I will especially miss his banter & one liners at meetings, always delivered with perfect timing. His sense of humor and wit was as sharp as his engineering.

Condolences to his family and colleagues he will be remembered and missed.

Geoff was a great guy who was so liked and respected by all who met him. He was passionate about his job, and in particular about his role in helping the transport industry. Everyone will miss him greatly.
Kindest regards to Paula and the family, I am thinking of you in your time of sadness. I treasure the time I had in knowing him in his early years in Reporoa.

Deepest Sympathy from Heather Purvis Taupo

A colleague and friend for around forty years. A talented engineer who was passionate about his work in the Road Transport Industry. Geoff was considered to be a major contributor to the advancement of the technical requirements needed to manufacture and promote safer and more robust equipment. He was highly regarded by many in our industry and will be sorely missed. Personally, he was a good friend and colleague to me and my staff at Roadmaster Trailers. Farewell my friend.

I am so going to miss my best mate. Through the 40 years I have known Geoff, he has been the most loyal and funny man. Through our days of living in a kiwi household in London, to hiking in the hills of porters pass, to sailing on the Auckland harbor, to visits in SFO, our friendship has endured. I am so glad I was at his 60 th since we won't get to cellebrate his 65 th in person. We had an ongoing rivalry of who was retiring first and getting their gold card. Only a month ago, I got a txt asking how was the gold card and was I still working. I was at pains to reaffirm that he gets his before me. He was on a trip to the coast and asked to meet up. Unfortunately, I was in the USA. He said that was an excuse mate. I texted back, that is was a bit difficult to get a last minute flight to be in his illustrious presence. I so wish I had been here for that last visit. Now I will miss those funny txt and emails, the visits, the wonderful person who was Geoff. He will never be forgotten and always in my thoughts.
My condolences to Paula, David and Chanelle. And the rest of the family.
