Geoffrey TRAINER Obituary

My memories of Uncle Geoff always include humour and I know my Mum Rae always spoke of his cheekiness whilst growing up. The many stories I have heard about the pranks he would pull with Auntie Lynda at his side. I last saw Geoff at my Mums funeral and remember well the huge hug he gave me. I know Geoff will be dancing with her in heaven. To Auntie Pat and all of Geoff's family, I wish you well today as you send him off in style. Sorry I could not be with you all.

I am so grateful to have known Geoff, even though it was only this last decade as his son Stephen´s partner. Geoff brought laughter, love and joy wherever he went, and lived intensely!! He will be always missed but never forgotten.

I met Geoff and Pat through my late husband Michel. Even after Michel passed away, I kept in touch with them. Such lovely people. I tell my friends Geoff was Michel's fishing buddy. Boy, did they love their fishing! We will miss you very much. Rest in peace, dear Geoff
