Geoffrey BURTON Obituary

BURTON, Geoffrey John. Peacefully at Auckland City Hospital on Sunday 12 October 2014. Dearly loved father of Patrick, Alexander, and partner Nicola. Loved Poppa to Greer and Francis and remembered by Eileen. A climber laid to rest. Sadly missed. A service will be held at All Saints Church, 284 Ponsonby Road, Ponsonby on Friday 17th October at 1pm. Garden flowers only or donations to the Cancer Society, PO Box 1724, Auckland would be appreciated. Communications to the Burton family, Apartment 2/C 175 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, Auckland 0622.

A sad surprise to us.
Geoff will be hugely missed with his extensive family knowledge and enthusiasm.

My notice missed a word, Geoff was my daughter's partner Alex' father. I was fond of him in the short visits I had in Auckland, and will miss seeing him.

Remembered fondly, my daughter's partner was a very sweet man and I was grateful Nicola had such a nice man as role model. I know how much he adored our wee poppets, a treasure he did not think he would have. Rest peacefully Geoff

Loved uncle to Mark and Bronwyn Johnson, Grant and Lisa Heaven, and great uncle to Ryan, and Annalise Johnson. Sadly missed. A climber laid to rest.
