Geoffrey ARMITAGE Obituary

ARMITAGE, Geoffrey Peter (Geoff). Passed away peacefully on 10th January following a prolonged battle with cancer. Beloved brother of Tim and Simon and the late Don and Alan. Loved brother-in-law to Helen, Lesley, Angela and Michelle. Devoted partner to Ann and a cherished uncle to many. A private cremation will be held, with details of a memorial service to follow at a later date. For updates, please contact Tim at [email protected]. The family extends sincere gratitude to his friends and carers for their love and support over the past months, and especially to the staff of Totara Hospice for their compassion and care during Geoff's final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to hospice are appreciated.

I got to know Geoff a very long time ago. When I was nanny for Don and Angela´s children
Jessica and Hugh. That was when I met Geoff because he was doing up the house at Laurie Ave...I saddened to read about Geoffrey...He was a very skilled worker and did a great job of the renovation...

Geoff you where a great friend and i will always remember your humour and especially your exceptional skills as traditional boat builder and superb wood working skills.Always a nice guy to the end , rest in peace my friend till we meet again somewhere someday.
