Genevieve GERAGHTY Obituary

GERAGHTY, Genevieve Nevada (Gene). Passed away on 25 June 2018, aged 89 years. Much loved daughter of Harry and Nevada. Loved cousin of many. A memorial service for Gene will be held at Seddon Park Funeral Home Chapel, Cnr Seddon Road & Somerset Street, Hamilton, on Wednesday, 4 July 2018at 1.30pm. Was very sad to hear today that Gene passed away last year.A friend had seen Parr Street for sale.Gene and Harry and Mrs G were the most wonderful friends to our family for over 70 years.Sharing many happy outings, eeling and exploring.My early days were spent wearing Genes hand knitting and in more recent times coming away with bunches of Gerbera's and passionfruit with my name carved in and latterly beans until they too succumbed to age.I lost track of Gene sometime after she was in a Resthome in TeAwamutu way..I am pleased she is a peace from her confused mind.Robyn Heyburn nee Elliott..daughter of June and Bob Eliott Wellington.
