Gay NELSON Obituary

NELSON, Gay Marie (Gay, Mum, Grannan) (nee Hamilton) Born 19 February 1955. Gay passed away peacefully on 7 July 2015 aged 60 years with her devoted family holding her hand. Most precious and loving wife to Alan. An inspirational and wonderful Mother to Bryce, Bevan, Carolyn and Clinton. Very special and adored Grannan to Kieran, Rhys, Kody, Connor and Levi. Our loving memories of the adventures, good times and your wisdom will be remembered by us forever. We will all miss you but have the comfort of your words and guidance to carry us through the years to come. A celebration of life will be held at the Warkworth Men's Bowling Club, Mill Lane on Sunday 19 July at 1.00pm.

It was a shock to read of Gay's passing. I was also one of Roy's pupils. Gay and I won a piano competition playing a duet. My condolences to all of Gay's family. Kind regards, Tanith - (nee Reed)

I remember a lovely little girl coming for piano lessons. Gay was one of the best students I ever had the privilege of knowing. Her sense of time (rhythm) was probably, or very close to, perfect. Memories memories! My thoughts go out to everyone in the family at this time Sincerely,

NELSON, Gay Marie (nee Hamilton). Gay you left us to early, quietly last Tuesday. The best sister to Janice. Sister-in-law to Lloyd and greatest auntie to Chloe, Gray, Rhonda and Wade. You will always be in our hearts and conversations, never to leave our home. Rest now as the pain and discomfort is over. Will always love you.
