Gavin STEVENS Obituary

STEVENS, Gavin John. Died peacefully at home 13 August 2014. Beloved partner of Luce-Anne Juneau, brother-in-law to Marc and Rob, son-in-law to Claire. Brother and friend to Julie Evernden and her family, Navachitta Macgregor, Russell Tozer, David Powell, Jim and Jo Murphy, Aniela Pojar, and many more. As a counsellor, Gavin helped many people face their shadow side and choose to live fully. His support and skills will be missed, as will his friendship and love. He embraced life. Dear heart, we choose us. Always. Service will be held 11am Sunday 17th August at the Auckland Buddhist Centre, 381 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland. In lieu of flowers donations to the Auckland Buddhist Centre would be much appreciated. The Natural Funeral Company.

Darling Luce-Anne. My deepest love and prayers to you. Your love strength courage wisdom compassion tenacity friendship humour and humanity and your love of life and embracing all it reveals - are outstanding. You and Gavin's love and friendship and time together was/is precious. Bless you for being there for him so lovingly with your love - and without reservation. You truly are a loving beautiful soul. I am privileged blessed and delighted to know you. And Gavin, I am so glad i met you and thank you for blessing my life. Your devotion and compassion to your work and to humanity made many people's lives liveable again. Thank you. You showed great courage strength compassion wisdom and love and seized life fully.
