Gav was a beautiful soul, Gentle , quiet and a very genuine person. He had a great sense of humour. Fantastic husband to Sheryl and an amazing father to his beautiful boys. We had a little tradition when I was home of buying $5 scratches for each other. I love you now and I will love you always,

An incredibly loveable, gentle & easy-going man with a heart of gold but a wicked sense of humour...what more could you ask for in a person? Gav always made time & for that I am grateful. Tired after farmwork, reading the paper or just having a cigarette on his own...I always felt comfortable to go involve myself in any activity, without ever being made to feel like I was interrupting. I was instead met with a soft smile full of love. Crude jokes and videos is what kept us in contact more often than words & I really liked seeing what he found funny as I grew up - because I remember as a kid he was full of naughty jokes I usually couldn't hear. I missed him even before he passed & will miss him forever more.
I wish I could be there for you all at this time. Thinking of you often! X
