I have known Gary for over 30 years -he never forgot anything especially phone numbers - We met at NZIG Penrose - he was a working Machine - and I guess he still would of been if he could get out of bed .....
I Remember when he took us to Denny's for Breakfast after working too many Hours, paying by Credit card - Martin Pepper and I...
My Wife Trish remembers him so fondly at the Patumahoe Calf Club - when she meet him - and always was asking how/what he's upto... Maybe Country Folk Rule... Sorry I cant be at your funeral I think you would understand - someone has to be the back bone and continue on... You were always friendly and helpful - thank you Mate - until we meet again - enjoy the nectar in Heaven

Dear Gill our thoughts are with you and the family. I was very sad to hear from Caro that Gary had passed. We will never forget the care, compassion and support you both have given to our family. I'll always remember Gary for what he did for us over the week of Colin's funeral and be grateful. Gary had a huge heart and a very strong will, despite the pain he was in he was there for us the whole week. I feel very privileged to have know Gary.
