Gary Hicks Obituary

HICKS, Gary Clive (Gazza, Bag of Tricks). On April 2, 2012, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, after a courageous battle with leukemia; aged 68 years. Much loved husband of the late Margaret, and special loving partner of Pamma. Treasured father and friend of Michelle, and Jo, and wonderful father- in-law of Ric, and Tristan. Loved Poppa of Olivia, and Noah; Travis, and Shayla. Landing gear down Final flight complete Messages to the Hicks family, C/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Christchurch Hospital, would be appreciated and can be made at the service. A Funeral Service for Gary will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Thursday, April 5, at 11.00a.m. Academy Funeral Services FDANZ Ph 03 343 0919

So sorry to hear of the passing of our old friend,Gary.Our parents,Arthur & May Ellis(both now deceased) were very good friends of Harold& Pearl Hicks,and old neighbours of theirs from Tutuki St.,Waterview.

HICKS, Gary Clive. Passed away peacefully in B.M.T.U. Christchurch on 2 April, 2012, after a battle with AML Leukemia; aged 68. Beautiful Dad of Michelle and father-in-law and mate of Ric. My dearest Da, what a courageous battle the last 6 months have been for you. You never gave up, you never complained. Life will never be the same without you. Thank you for all of our memories, love and laughter shared over a coldie or two. You are forever in my heart.
