Gary COLLINGWOOD Obituary

Collingwood, Gary Frank. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday 26 March 2026 aged 81 years. Loved husband of Judy and father of Tracey, Stephen and Greg, father in law of Tim, Angelique and Emma. Cherished grandfather of Francois, Lucie, Christophe, Louis, Samson, Masson, Zakaia, Dania, Zoe, Niall, and Ella. A service for Gary will be held at the Central Park Chapel of Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson on Wednesday 1 April at 2pm

Gary and I Have been friends in excess of 60 Years.We first met in 1964 on a Post Office Construction job on Waiheke Island and have been friends ever since.My wife Laura and I were guests at Gary and Judys Wedding as they were at ours. A long friendship.
A true Gent who will be sadly missed.

My mate Gary, I first met you in 58 as a classmate, then we reconnected in 68 when Pauline and I came to the flat in Golf Rd and that's when we met Judy, your wonderful wife. Our friendship has endured over another 58 years. You will be sadly missed and our condolences go out to Tracy, Steven, Greg and their families. Rest in peace my friend, you have certainly earned it.
