Garth THORNLEY Obituary

THORNLEY, Garth Haydon (Garth). Born 9 July 1936. Passed away peacefully on 26 October 2024 at 88 years of age. Dearly loved husband of Judy for nearly 60 years. Much loved father to Michael, Craig, Megan and Peter. Treasured Grandad to Ava, Jarvis, Rosa, Tessa, Thomas, Holly, Zoe and Sophie. Sadly missed but loved forever. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Garth's life.

Sorry to read of Garth's passing. I was Trevor [TJ] Day's travel mate in 1963 on Fairsky and toured Europe with Garth and 5 others in an old Bedford Van. Lost touch with Trevor, last in Blenheim 15 years ago. My dearest sympathies to Judy and the family. Bernie Nicholson
