Dear Margaret, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear husband Garry. I've only just heard of his passing. Garry was so knowledgeable about local history, and I am grateful for the generosity with which he shared his time and information in this regard. His books will always be a reminder of his enthusiasm and research. My very best wishes always.

When I was a teenager I used to come up and stay with Margaret and Garry to play in tennis tournaments. Garry and I would have conversations around my tennis - he was always so lovely and kind to me ❤

Dear Margaret I am so sorry. I saw Garry at Olive Tree a fortnight ago and it was lovely.
I guess I worked with him on the journal and with Historic Places for about ten years. He was so reliable and a great salesman! Everyone will miss him.
Warm regards
Cushla
