To Shirley and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. So many happy memories of Garry and Shirley in the NPOB days. A wonderful man lost but not forgotten

To Shirley and family sincere condolences on the loss of Garry. Memories of pool training in the old baths during the 1950s and meeting at national Surf Champs. Kind Regards John McLean.

It has been our privilege to have known and enjoyed Gary's company. He will especially be missed at our October birthday get togethers with Dale and Diane which was a much anticipated occasion in which a humorous and witty conversation prevailed.
One of natures true gentlemen.

Our hearts are heavy with the news of Garry's passing.
Some of our very fondest memories are of times spent with Shirley and Garry both here in the states and over in beautiful New Zealand.
Garry lit up the room with his smile and graciousness, and every life he touched will feel a void with his absence.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Shirley, Robyn, Sally, Hayden and your families.

Sending my thoughts, love and strength to you all at this very sad time. I hadn't seen him for quite a few years but always remember him as such a lovely man. Having dinner at your house as a teenager he would offer me more food to which I'd reply "I'm fine thanks" and he'd say "I know you're fine but would you like some more"! Made me laugh xx

You were a source for our family history that you so enthusiastically researched. I thank you for all you shared with me. You inspired me to find the history behind my dads' (and your second name) and my son visited Stanely Douglas' grave from the 1st World War,in France. My love to Shirley, your children, and grandchildren.
