Garry CLOSE Obituary

CLOSE, Garry Todd (Gazza). Passed away peacefully on Friday, 15 March after a valiant fight with cancer. Dearly loved son of Neville Close and Jill Gardner, stepson of Roger Gardner, brother to Terry and Claire, father of Joseph and grandad of Jasper. A private cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, 23 March 2024 at The Masters House,122 Masters Avenue, Hamilton 3216. Any enquiries to [email protected].

Kate & Simon Annakin

Garry was a very good friend of my brother, Simon Annakin, who also passed away in May 2023. Garry and Simon had a great deal of fun and got up to some wild antics in their younger days, and their friendship endured to the end, as they always keep in touch. I remember Garry as a fun loving person who was great to be around. Very sorry to have lost you, and thank you Garry for your kindness to me when Simon died. Fly high brothers :-)
