Garry BUCKLEY Obituary

BUCKLEY, Garry Vincent (Gus). (ex NZ Forest Service). Passed away peacefully on Sunday July 3, 2016, in the loving arms of his wife, sons and daughter. A courageous battle well fought. Beloved husband of Pat (nee Currie), father of Keith (Perth, Australia), Mary (Brookside, Canterbury), and Lawrence (Christchurch). Brother of Ayleen and Keith (deceased). Father-in- law of Sonia, Esther and Michael. Granddad of Bianca, James, Connor and Indiana. Brother-in-law of Ray Gordon (Auckland), Ted Murphy (Auckland), Robert, Lyn, Yvonne, Bruce, Leslie and Sue Currie (Hamilton). Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews in both NZ and Australia. The family wish to sincerely thank the wonderful doctors and nursing staff of Wards 15 and 24, Christchurch Hospital and of the Royal Perth Hospital. Special thanks to Jodie, Loghann, Celeste and Jason Gardiner (Ashley neighbours & close friends of Gus). Gus will be remembered with great fondness by his many friends around NZ and Australia.
