Gail WATSON Obituary

WATSON, Gail Margaret (Gail) (nee Webb, formerly Maddock). On Friday 26th July 2024, Gail passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family; aged 73 years. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Morris. Loved mother and mother in law of Karen and Mark, Chris and Fay, and an adored Nana of Joshua, Max, Milly, Ella and furbaby Hugo. Gail was a loved stepmother and Nana to Kim, Richard, Toni, Aaron, Jazmyn and Sam. A service to celebrate Gail's life will be held at the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, Ara-Tai Road, Half Moon Bay at 2pm on Wednesday 31 July 2024. It was Gail's wish that everyone wear colour. For those not able to attend the service, it will be livestreamed via the following link, https://www.dreamproductions.co.nz/gwatson. In lieu of flowers, Gail's family would be extremely grateful if donations could be made to Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ, https://www.asthmafoundation.org.nz/donate.

Dear Morris and Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear about Gail's passing. Gail was a wonderful person who touched our lives in a special way. We will always remember how you and Gail took such good care of our very young family while Robyn and I went on a holiday many years ago. Her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on us, and we will never forget the love and care she showed.

To Morris and family, James and I were so very sad to hear of Gail's passing. We didn't know her well, but on the few occasions that we met she was such a ray of sunshine. I will never forget you both taking us out on your awesome boat for Natalie's hens party, such kind friends. We are so sorry for your loss. Love and hugs Celia and James Connolly.
