Gail Frances HINKLEY
HINKLEY, Gail Frances (nee Fleming). Left us peacefully aged 78. Dearly loved wife of the late David. Much loved by all her family: Mother of Karen and Mark, mother-in-law of Mike and Hannah, sister of Patricia (deceased) and Ngaire, auntie of Danielle, Mark, Grant and Wendy, great auntie of Alexander and Isaac. "As we loved you, so we miss you. In our memory, you are near. Loved, remembered, longed for always. Bringing many a silent tear." Due to current restrictions, a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Gail's life will follow when possible.

I was very sad to read of Gail’s passing. She was Chair of the Pakuranga Citizens Advice Bureau in 2001 when i became Manager, and she was warm and supportive leader. We shared an interest in genealogy and spent many hours swapping ideas and sharing our discoveries. She spoke often of you, Karen and Mark, and was immensely proud of you.

To Karen and Mark,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum (Gail). She was a wonderful lady and will cherish the times we had during our Guiding years. May she rest in peace. Thoughts are with you and your families at this time.

Dear Karen and Mark
I am sad to read that your mother has died. She was so proud of you both and talked about you often during our guiding days together as leaders. Karen you were a wonderful ranger and such a delightful young woman. My love to you Linda Hogg
