Felicity I met you in Cafe Aroha and it was immediately evident how much you loved your mother and in turn your love was returned. We only have one mother and you would never have been prepared adequately to say goodbye. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I hope that knowing people are thinking about you will give you some comfort as you adapt to life without your lovely mother.

Dear Felicity, I am so sorry to hear about your mum. Gabrielle was such a beautiful and warm person, and she took me under her wing on my first kindergarten position.
Thank you for all the laughs, you were such a positive role model to me.
Love always Gabrielle and Felicity.

My dear Felicity,
I am so very sorry to hear of the death of your beloved Mother Gabrielle. I heard the sad news from Daniella. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I shall say a special prayer on Wednesday and Thursday for the repose of her soul and in her memory.
May she Rest in Peace!

O'ROURKE, Gabrielle. After her brave battle with cancer Mum passed away at Totara Hospice. Most beloved mum and best friend of Felicity. You brought love, laughter and caring to the many children you taught over the last fifty- two years of kindergarten teaching. Love you always mum. A requiem mass to celebrate Gabrielle's life will be held in Holy Cross Papatoetoe Catholic Parish, 21 Carruth Road, Papatoetoe on Thursday 18 July at 11am. A rosary will be held at Holy Cross at 7pm Wednesday 17 July.
