Gabrielle LEES Obituary

LEES, Gabrielle Carmen (Carmen). Born February 11, 1926. Passed away peacefully in her sleep on 29th April 2021, aged 95. Loved wife of the late Tim Lees. Loved mother of Greg, David and Amanda, Mother in law and friend to Diane, Bonnie and always grateful for support from Andrew. Granny-Carmen to Jeremy, Rachel, Rosanna, Timothy, Samantha and Amy. Great grandmother of Jasmine, Esme and Isabella. The funeral service will be held at Jason Morrison Funeral Services, 24 Whitaker Road, Warkworth, at 11am Friday 7th May. Any communications to David Lees 022-4800722 The Family want to especially acknowledge the unending care from the Nurses for Carmen, and all at Summerset Falls.

Carmen and my Mum Thalia were sisters who shared a lifelong bond and admiration for each other. Carmen was a strong pioneering woman with a fierce love for her family. Leaving Australia and her family in her young years to follow her heart, forged a strength that my mother admired. As my aunt, Carmen was a role model with a very compassionate and warm heart and will be remembered with great fondness and respect. Love Alli
