Gabrielle KEMPLEN Obituary
KEMPLEN, Gabrielle Elizabeth (nee Gavin). Peacefully at Pohlen Hospital Matamata, on Wednesday, 2 October 2024, in her 82nd year, surrounded by family. Dearest wife and sweetheart of Colin (and of course the best ever tandem stoker). Cherished Mum to Ally, Strat and Nick and Nanie to her lovely grandchildren Max, Theo, Lewis, Evie, Findlay and Oscar. Mother-in-law to Fiona and Annabel. Eldest sister of Damian, Gerard, Paul and Denis. "A remarkable teacher, aunty, cousin and friend to all. May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face." A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Gabrielle's life to be held in Matamata on Saturday, 30 November 2024. "Gabrielle you were just Wonderful!" All communications to the Kemplen family c/- 6 Tamihana Street, Matamata.
