Gae, you were one of a kind. You held my hand through some difficult times, you were my greatest supporter...... I wish I had spent more time with you in the latter years but you will always be in my heart❤❤❤

Hi Lynne, I know Auntie Jessie and Nora spent a load of time together, the two of them would take Scott and I to the Dargaville Pools on warm and bright summer school holiday days in a Vauxhall Viva, and Auntie Jessie baby-sat us at Mate & Nora's house a few times - heck I remember Scott and I having sleepover at Auntie Jessie's house and her bathing us in a concrete tub then putting us into beds with heavily starched white sheets. Uncle Trevor had a large pencil collection and he would allow Scott and I to go through it on the floor of the room that was between the bedrooms and the kitchen - very poignant memories of Auntie Jessie and Uncle Trevor, I'll be visiting her grave when we're at Mt. Wesley on Friday 6/26 and 6/27. One last thing - I still have my baby blanket that Auntie Jessie made for me! When my daughter Olivia was born we wrapped her in that baby blanket to bring her home from NS Hospital.

We met you in 1996 and from then we five had lunch or dinner once a month and as time went by every three months for 21 years We have had some hilarious times Gae and I (Judy) and the 3 younger girls (23 years younger than us) You always turned up to meet us your immaculate self everything in place RIP Dear Lady and say Hi to Gary from us all. Oh wow what a shock to read this. Im so sorry for your loss. Auntie Gae was a big part of my familys life for many years. I remember her always dressed immaculately, beautifully presented, and always called a spade a spade! Such a beautiful lady both inside and out. Aunty Gae my godmother a person whom I was always able to talk too when I was lost, you always had an open ear and for that I am greatful. Many fond memories I had of you as a child and funny moments I shall never forget with your family and ours. . Rip Aunty Gae until we meet again. Xxx

BARNETT, Gabrielle Maria (Gae). Passed away on May 30, 2020. Our darling Gaezee was our Premium Girl and Fabulous Receptionist for over 21 years. Always glamorous and ready to listen. Our sincerest condolences to her sons Mark, Scott and Matt, her grandchildren Jack and Olivia and her brother Mike. Gae is resting in peace now with her loving husband Gary.
